Ordering repeat prescriptions
From today, we’re asking all patients to request their repeat medication via the NHS app or the NHS website if they are able to. Ordering via the app is faster, easier (with no phone menu to navigate or funny medication names to pronounce), and enables us to process your request more efficiently than we can using the automated order line.
The app also has additional benefits, such as being able to view your GP medical records including appointments, clinic letters, test results and allergies, and can help you manage some health conditions without the need to telephone the surgery.
For those unable to use the app, you can still order in the usual ways, but note that we are able to process requests made via the app faster than those made by telephone.
