General Surgery

Our GPs run the general surgery consultations daily, between 8am and 12pm and then again between 2pm and 6pm.

Enhanced Access

Across South Tyneside evening and Saturday morning appointments are available across a number of practices.  Clinics are held at Marsden Road Health Centre on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday evenings until 8pm and on a Saturday until 1pm.

General Nursing

Our Nursing team run general clinics daily for a wide range of things such as blood pressure checks, vaccinations for children, diabetes management and more.

Travel Vaccinations

Initial appointments should be 6-8 weeks prior to departure as all courses must be complete no later than 2 weeks before travel.  Some vaccinations are chargeable.

Social Prescribers

We have a social prescribing team that support patients through promoting the knowledge, skills and confidence needed to practice self-care. Their appointments are longer than typical GP appointments. Which gives you time to talk about what matters to you.
